Moʻolelo — Spearfishing

Some of the tastiest fish to eat in Hawaii is the goat fish. There's the Kumu (White Saddle goat fish), Moana Kali (Blue goat fish) and Munu (Doublebar goat fish). Each of which are fun to hunt and even better to eat. The preferred size to catch is in the 2 to 4 pound range. They get bigger, but very rare to find. Enjoy! Before the official release of the wetsuits we decided to test them out. Didn't expect to run into a 65lb Ulua that was just a little too curious.. We spent the whole day looking for clean water and when we did we threw anchor and decided to check it out. This was the first drop and last drop of the day.
